November 4, 2008, a horrific day in
American history.
What a depressing day. This
wonderful country that has provided so much opportunity,
prosperity, and hope to so many people here and around the
world just took a giant leap towards socialism. All
you people who voted for Barack NOBama, here's what you
voted for.
1. Spreading the
wealth. Some of you say that taking from the
rich/middle class to give to the poor is no different than
taxes. Pure garbage. I get something for my
taxes. I get police, fire, defense, water, sewer, etc.
What do I get when NOBama and his socialist partners in
Congress take my money and give it to those making less than
$42,000 a year? I'll tell you what I get, a smaller
pay check. Instead of taking my money, NOBama should
great jobs by reducing taxes so small companies can hirer
those people making less than $42,000. Instead,
NOBama's wealth distribution will cause small businesses to
hire less even possibly reduce employment so they can pay
NOBama's welfare. I spoke to my landscaper the other
day. He owns his own business with 5 employees.
I asked him how the NOBama plan would affect him. As I
predicted, he said unless the economy makes a giant turn
around, he will have to lay off an employee if the NOBama
tax hike takes place.
2. Card Check: The Congress
is currently discussing eliminating private union votes.
Why? There is no reason I can think of other than to
have more control over unions by intimidating union members.
This is a very terrifying concept. Most of laws passed
in America are based on precedence. If the Congress
and NOBama eliminate private union votes, then what could be
next? Eliminating private political votes! Yes,
that is the only reason I can think of why the Congress is
entertaining this concept. First, eliminate all
private votes to control unions. Then eliminate our
right to a private vote in order to intimidate us.
Don't forget that NOBama and his left wing media has
harassed Joe the Plumber and the family of the Orlando
reporter who challenged Biden. This sounds a great
deal like Communism. Keep in mind that big changes in
governments come about as a result of small steps. You
may think this will never happen and this is completely
absurd. Did you think 20 years ago a black man would
be elected president?
3. NOBama
supporters claim that John McCain is just another Bush.
yet NOBama supported the Patriot Act that allows the
government to ease drop on citizens. Although the Bush
administration needed this act to keep us safe from
terrorist, what does NOBama need it for? I'm sure he
will not use it to keep us safe. No, he will use it to
spy on us. Sounds more like Communism.
4. Note that
most Democrats voted for the banking industry bail out.
Yes, Republicans voted for it as well and I plan to vote
against all those candidates, Democratic or Republican, who
voted for this drastic Socialist act.
5. Nancy Pelosi
and her gang have announced that they have a plan to
nationalize our 401k accounts. Pelosi's radical plan
is to take our 401k plans away and replace them with a
government run plan. This plan would eliminate choice
of mutual funds and other investment choices. The plan
would pay up to 3% in bonds adjusted for inflation on a
yearly basis. The most we would earn is the inflation
rate. No growth whatsoever. There is no reason
for this plan other than control of wealth. The
socialist left do NOT want us accumulating wealth.
They want to control the wealth. Just think if your
retirement plan consisted of social security and whatever
you had been able to set aside with no growth. Are
traditional and Roth IRAs far behind? The reason the
left wants this plan is to eliminate the tax deferred basis
of these accounts so they can get the taxes NOW so they can
distribute them. If this isn't socialism, then what
is? Think people! You've just elected a man who
said the problem with the civil rights movement is that the
courts did not provide for wealth distribution.
6.
Fairness Doctrine. Congress has hinted it wants to
revive the so called Fairness Doctrine. This bill requires
the holders of broadcast licenses to present controversial
issues of public importance and to do so in a manner that
was honest, equitable, and balanced. False! The
socialist left has been unable to sustain liberal talk
radio. As a result, since they cannot compete, they
are attempting to shut down conservative talk radio.
Socialist are using the guise of fairness to attempt to
suppress freedom of speech. Does this sound like what
our country stand for? What happened to the first
amendment?
What does this
election mean to me?
I left the
Republican party in 1988 because I felt they had gone to far
to the left. I am a conservative independent. I
love the constitution. I want the government that the
constitution outlines. We have moved very far away
from constitutional government. The constitution
outlines what the government is suppose to do for us -
defend us and secure our property rights, THAT'S IT!
Now we have a $10 trillion deficit, $3 trillion budget (and
about to sky rocket), and phenomenal government control.
However, today I rejoined the GOP. I plan to do
whatever I can to help GOP return to the ideals of Lincoln,
Teddy Roosevelt, and Reagan. If the GOP returns to the
ideals of strong defense, property rights, small government,
state rights, and fiscal responsibility, then I will remain
a GOP. I will do whatever I can to make this happen.
It is only by returning to these ideals can we reclaim our
country. It is only by reclaiming out country can we
become the beacon of light that brought millions of people
here LEGALLY from around the world to prosper. It is
only with these ideals can we hope to revert the socialist
moves that will occur the next 4 years.
