COZUMEL, MEXICO

We are in a cabin where we once again we can see the bridge and the ship officers clearly from our balcony! Loved this shot of the bridge with the nearby ships that were already docked. It just looked cool to me.

Key West

Lots of chickens and roosters wander around downtown Key West. One even shared our table.

Celebrity Silhouette

Our first night on Cruise #48! We're having dinner at the Grand Cuvee which is one of the main dining rooms. The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly and efficient.

Celebrity Silhouette Casino

Oh my gosh, Carol finally scored her very first hand pay! And if you’re thinking, “What on earth is a hand pay?” buckle up. When you win $1,200 or more in a single spin, the casino basically says, “Whoa there, high roller,” and sends a human over with a tax form because nothing kills the vibe like paperwork.

Once you sign your life away, they literally hand-deliver your winnings in cold, glorious cash, right into your trembling, delighted fingers. Lou has racked up a couple of these before, but Carol’s previous personal best was $800… so this was basically her Super Bowl.

Celebrity Silhouette Casino

Yippee!! Another win for Carol! $1,105.45 richer thanks to her favorite slot machine 'Flaming Hot Pots.' It’s a hobby, not an obsessionwe swear!"

Celebrity Silhouette

The ship was all decked out for Christmas! This is the Grand Plaza.

Celebrity Silhouette

The music was always great at the Grand Plaza.

Bonaire

We have just docked at Kralenduk, Bonaire. We love the "ABC" islands!

A=Aruba

B=Bonaire

C=Curacao

Bonaire

We took a tour of downtown Bonaire on a cute little vehicle called a "Tuk Tuk". Here is a picture of our great tour guide.

Bonaire

Cool paintings on many of the buildings throughout downtown Kralenduk.

Lou, pointing the way...

...at what we still do not know.

Bonaire

(George Hill, you can step right into the water for some great snorkelling!) This picture was taken about a block from where our ship was docked.

The harbor walk in Bonaire offers easy access to some of the Caribbean’s healthiest reefs. From schools of shimmering Parrotfish in the shallows to Nurse Sharks and Barracudas in the depths, there is a treasure at every turn. There are also many other prime snorkeling spots throughout the island.

Celebrity Silhouette

The gang behind the bar at the Ensemble Bar. They have great musicians there.

Aruba

We rented a Cabana for the day so we ended up not getting off the ship. The Cabana provided for all the drinks and food you can consume. It held 4 just for the 2 of us. Awesome. We will do this again.

Aruba

Just can't get enough of those waters of Aruba! We hope to come back soon.

Aruba

A pilot ship guides us into the port at Oranjestad, Aruba.

We really loved doing back to back cruises. More cruising, less driving. In February/March we are doing 4 back to back cruises.

Celebrity Silhouette

Carol relaxing at the Ensemble Bar on the Celebrity Silhouette. The musician will begin playing soon. He was awesome!

Lou's Birthday

Okay, we know Lou's birthday isn't until December 29th but it's always fun to hear the serving staff sing "Happy Birthday" off key and who doesn't like chocolate cake?

When they asked me what my name was I said "Frank Sinatra". A good laugh was had by all.

Carol's Dessert

It was almost too pretty to eat!

Grand Cuvee dining room

To good times and great friends!
