Chili


Ingredients:

crock-pot
1 yellow onion diced
1 green pepper clean and diced
1 can diced Jalapenos (hot)
2 16 oz cans kidney beans
2 16 oz cans pinto beans
16 oz. hot salsa (not chunky)
1 lb. ground hot sausage
2 lb. lean ground beef
Chili powder
Paprika powder
Oregano
2 Tablespoons minced garlic
Cayenne pepper

Directions:

Rinse beans and add to crock pot
Add salsa
Add herbs and spices
Cook for an hour

Cut vegetables
Add vegetables to crock pot
Cook for an hour

Brown ground beef in a skillet
Add a significant amount of chili powder, black pepper, and garlic.
Move drained ground beef from skillet to crock pot.

Brown sausage and keep it mashed with a fork to keep it from clumping-up.
Move drained sausage from skillet to crock pot.

Add one full bottle of dark beer
Add more spices.
Let chili cook 6+ hours with the cover on over low heat,
Taste and decide if you need to add more spices.
