If you look closely, the patch of blue in the front of the mountain is Spirit Lake. The body of 83-year-old Harry R. Truman lies somewhere underneath that lake. Harry had lived near the mountain for 54 years and decided not to evacuate before the impending eruption, despite repeated pleas by local authorities. |
