John Kerry's wife is a billionaire?
John Edwards made 80 million on tort lawsuits that insurance companies paid
and raised everyones rates to pay for his winnings. He got 30% for his efforts
meaning he actually won $240,000,000 for his clients? Oh by the way, North
carolina is one of the biggest tobacco growing states in the union. guess what
will happen to all that dough they lost from suits brought on by medical
related suffering of our populace?
The salary of the President of the U.S. is $200,000 a year?
$150,000 for Vice President?
Why would anyone take a $200,000 a year job when his allowance from 'mummy' is
ten times that?
Why would that toothy goof smiler from N.C. want to walk away from 80 mil for
$150k pittance job?
Here may be one reason; Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his
memoirs. His wife Hillary got $8 million for hers. That's $20 million for
memories from two people who for eight years repeatedly testified, under
oath, that they couldn't remember anything. Anyone should be able to beat
that.
Another may be that Mrs. Heinz-Kerry wants the ketchup franchise for the armed
forces, something like several million gallons a month?
Everyone is motivated by something, usually it is wealth or fame, which really
go hand in hand, so why would millionaires want to be president? They get shot
at, chastised for banging the help, ridiculed by every cartoonist and feature
writer the media can present and then harrassed the rest of their days for
their errors.
Why doesnt Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, want to be President?
That is really very easy to answer you know, Bill Gates is a very intelligent
man, business and personal and his ego is satisfied with what he controls.
People who have an emotional problem want the spotlight, they want to be
recognized as the most powerful person on the face of the earth, regardless
the money.
So I have an idea for our national debt problems......... Lets auction off the
presidency every four years, highest bidder wins. Instead of paying the poor
slobs. Maybe Mrs, Heinz would pony up a billion or so, or one of the Hearst's
would like a shot. Think about it, it is obvious everyone running is doing it
for something besides the dough. If their ego is that magnificent, just think
of all that tax free cash we could donate to Mexico to buy buses to ship the
illegals back to Tijuana. OOps, lost track of my subject, now where was I?
